Concept

Kashmir: the two countries hold conflicting positions on the region; it led to the wars of 1947–48 and 1965.
Siachen glacier: both keep troops on this high glacier.
Sir Creek: a boundary dispute in the marshes of the Rann of Kutch.
Arms race: both became nuclear-armed after the 1998 tests.
