SOYL Academy

For teachers

Your notes in. Better homework out.

SOYL turns the notes you already teach from into interactive assignments for Grades 1–10. You approve every question. Your pupils work it out for themselves. You see how each of them got there.

You stay in charge

Built around your judgement.

  • AI drafts, you decide

Every question is a draft until you approve it. Edit the wording, change the difficulty, or throw it out.

  • Hints that teach

Students get step-by-step nudges, never the answer, so the work they hand in is their own.

  • The process, not just the score

See how many tries each pupil needed, which hints they used, and where the class got stuck.

  • Simulators where they help

Maths, physics and chemistry questions can use interactive simulators instead of a text box.

How it works

From notes to evidence.

Start from what you already teach. SOYL drafts; you decide; students do the work; you see the thinking.

  1. 1

    Upload your notes

Start from the notes you already teach with. SOYL drafts interactive questions from them.

  2. 2

    You approve every question

Edit, reorder or reject. Nothing reaches students until you say so.

  3. 3

    Students work it out

Unlimited attempts and step-by-step hints that never give the answer away.

  4. 4

    See each pupil’s path

A class heatmap of attempts and hints shows who struggled, where, and who got there alone.

FAQ

Questions from teachers

Who writes the questions, the AI or the teacher?

The teacher decides. SOYL drafts questions from the teacher’s notes, and nothing reaches students until the teacher has reviewed, edited and approved it.

Do the hints just give students the answer?

No. Hints are step-by-step nudges that never reveal the answer. Students can try as many times as they need, and every attempt and hint is recorded so the teacher can see the process, not just the score.

Does SOYL Academy replace teachers?

No. Educators stay at the centre of every SOYL experience. The tools are designed to amplify a teacher’s reach and reduce administrative burden, while pedagogical decisions, relationships and final assessments remain entirely human.
